From the perspective of the overall environment in our country, the national policy of building an innovative country with a good environment has created the best policy conditions for the more rapid development of the ice-making machine industry. Although China's refrigeration technology has developed rapidly in recent years, compared with developed countries, there is still much room for improvement in terms of machine manufacturing precision, processing technology level, and material selection. There are still gaps in the research and development of refrigerants and the energy efficiency level of ice makers.
First of all, the most crucial parts of an ice maker are the refrigeration compressor and the ice-making components. Companies with international brands of refrigeration compressors are mainly concentrated in Europe, America and Japan. In recent years, China has also made considerable progress in the research and development of screw refrigeration compressors. The screw refrigeration compressor technology jointly developed by Xi 'an Jiaotong University and Yantai Binglun Group Co., Ltd. with multiple patents and independent intellectual property rights has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award. Its energy efficiency, noise and other indicators have all reached the international advanced level. The semi-hermetic or open piston compressors and screw compressors that are mainly used in industrial and commercial ice machines in China are mainly from Dalian Bingshan Group (Wuhan New Century), Yantai Binglun Group, as well as foreign joint venture or wholly-owned brands in China such as YORK, COPELAND, BITZER, and Donham-Bush.
Although domestic refrigeration compressors have made significant progress in terms of technology and processing techniques in recent years, there is still a certain gap compared with foreign brands due to issues such as the material of the components used, processing accuracy, and assembly technology. This is reflected in higher failure rates, larger noise levels, and bulky appearances. In terms of ice-making components, research and development should be strengthened in aspects such as the efficiency of evaporators, the application of new materials, the processing accuracy of components and materials.
